I ahve z3 fenders, actually just put them on yesterday..... theyre used, and today after coming out of the gym i noticed a small dent, on the passenger side, only cuz a friend told me....... i dont know how it happened..... but when i push on the dent from the opposite side it feels flimsy, so yeah i can get it back into proper shape........ how would I do this? to get it back to normal? could i use bondo? or what
also since they were put on yesterday should I think maybe with road knocking it could have pulled and made a dent itself? or that someone hit it..... im gonna watch for a 4 door ford focus in red if so.........
meaning, like i wonder if having a weak spot has made the fender want to "give" a little in that spot
you cant pop glass back into shape i believe. you might be able to though. if you can just do that and add more glass behind it and it wont be so weak
try taking it off and figure out a way to keep the dent pushed out, and the add more glass to the back. If you cant do that, then just fill it. Unless its really deep. If its really deep, then you'll prolly have to add some fiberglass matt and resin, and then body filler to it.
^^^^ thats what im thinkin...i spent a good week f*ckin with my glass fenders, i have no idea how you could dent one...not without cracking it!

i dont think glass dents.... id jsut fill it in with more fiberglass or even bondo if it isnt that bad and repaint

i was looking closely, theres a smalll hairline crack which was there when i bought them off another guy, VERY VERY VERY MINOR can barely see, i was just guessing that maybe thats a weak spot?...... im clueless.. but thanks guys..... OH YEAH, id like to add, that i think im the only guy on this site with the import fighter RK sport cavalier front on a sunfire,
so i'll be getting some pics up soon!.....
glass the back of the soft spot....kitty hair the dent and use filler to smooth it out..probably got hit hard and caused it to crack like that...we get it all the time at my work..hope that halped..phil
