I am in need of the paint code for a green cavalier between the the years of 2000-2002
Cone
2000 ecotec cavalier
Look on your spare tire cover, the sticker on the back of it lists a bunch of numbers. You're looking for the number that has "BC/CC" listed beside it.
BC/CC stands for basecoat/clear coat. The U stands for upper which is normally the body color. A "WA" instead of the U is quite normal as well. If the number started with an L than that would be the lower color in a two toned paint job, but both L and U mean nothing if it is the same color.
Sorry, forgot this part: Mine is an '01 and the code is 422G 12C.
GM sucks with paint codes, when i got my paint done it didn't come close to matching, the paint code on my car was wrong, had to get it redone again
Yeah the tag for my paint code was missing so I just went to the paint shop with one of my side skirts and they color matched it using there computerized machine thing. Haven't used the paint yet. Should be painting my kit with it tomarow so hopefully it all matches good.
its not for my car its a friends car that needs a bumper painted or i would have looked under the spare tire cover thing. but thanks guys i hope the code 422G 12C works.
