Who makes this clear vinyl clear coat?
Who here has it. because I'm tired of rock chips and rock slits.

I wouldn't get it, its kinda pointless in my opinion. I've seen that stuff get really dirty at the edges and it just isn't exactly crystal clear. It just doesn't look good, plus it isn't exactly cheap either. I dunno, I'd just let what happens happen, and if it gets really bad after a while, just have the front cover repainted.

I guess I'll ask a couple of local places. The thing is if it is cheap enough you can peel the old stuff off and put a new layer on.

i saw it at a car show. I think it was the la auto show. properly installed you can not tell it is there. looks like a good product.

We carry this stuff... Made by a few different companies.
Ours is roughly $5-6 per foot, for an 11" wide roll.
When applied properly it's hard to see.

Most clear bra jobs I have seen are 100% clear. Most obvious is the clear bra edge, and the difference in the car's finish and clear bra.
The installer I might be considering for a clear bra on my g/f's 03 Civic EX coupe wraps the clear bra over the edges. Most jobs I see have a gap around all edges.
I just wonder what happens to the material over time. Yellows? Turns brittle? Difficult to remove?
