They arent too bad, they are there. What could I use to get these out/ And do I need a buffer/polisher to do so?

Yeah you will need a buffer to make it easier on you . You will wear your arm out trying to rub the swirl marks out . But stop by any autopaint supply store and get some swirl remover . Meguiars makes it and some other companies also offer it .

Never used a buffer, and I hear its easy to burn the paint if used wrong.

yep...all depends on the power...and definately wouldnt recommend using a powerful rotor if its your first time, and its YOUR car
i use scratch x
it doesnt get rid of all scratches...like when dogs jump in one window and out the other. stupid dogs. from a distance of about 5 ft you cant tell...but if you get close enough...its there.
scratch x and then some wax will make a car nice n shiny.
just dont use a lot of either or your arm will be hurtin for a couple of days.
