i love MY new 2004 white Cavy
nothing really ALL that special, but shes my baby

there are however a few things i dont like about the car,

one is that extended red lens in the back tail, i like the 99-01 looking tails where the lights were broken up with body, where can i get a replacement peice for that tail lens, or perhaps suggestions on what else to do to change that one long tail to 2 small ones

also the gold emblem on the front is kinda hokey looking to me, (as well as the one on the back where the trunk key goes) was wondering if anyone had black emblems kicking around or if it is ill advised or not to paint them.........

other then thoes 2 things the sound system isnt beefy eneugh for me, but i am in the process of changing that into something half decent (nothing HUGE)

I was well think the rear stock light bar sucks. There are a few different thing you can do to get rid of the sucker.

1: Remove the stock light bar and fill in the bolt holes that house the light bar.
2: Get the RKSport carbon fiber trunk bezel. Its pretty much the same thing as the light bar but it is carbon fiber and allows you to use any style tail lights for the cavis from 95-02
3: Go to a junk yard or try and find a pre-03 trunk lid and just replace it.

Also one other thing a few people have done is paint the stock light bar to make it look like it integrates into the flow of the car.

If your trying to get rid of it totally you should go with options 1 and 3. If you dont know of anyone or if you cant do it your self the easier option is 3.

I as well was not digging my front bowtie so when I got my new kit I just left it off. To get rid of it you can either take off the front bowtie facia or if you want to clean it up a bit you can check out getting yourself the front bowtie emblem in carbon fiber. I know one of the guys around here makes them so its not that hard to find.

I don't think you can paint the front emblem. It's a gold tinted clear plastic, and behind it is a two-sided tape with a silver layer behind the plastic.

But those are two suggestions, and how they look on the car. Hope that helps you out some.

how much wat that front bowtie?...... i really really like it
and as for that rear peice, i think i want to get rid of it totally........ but i like my spoiler on the trunk i have (its the stock one) but painting it could be an option, but i need more instructions on how to do that properly

If you get a new trunk lid you can mount your stock spoiler onto the new trunk with no problems. As for painting. Your better off having a pro do it.
