i recently got a set of apc m3 style mirrors for my 95 sunfire and put them on..i think they look good but at the top it doesnt hug the dor as well as id like. Anyone else have this problem and if so can it be fixed?? i tried a heat gun and taping it down which worked till it colled down so any other ideas..thanks alot..phil
I have the same problem. If you look closely behind the upper part of the mirror there is a bit of weather stop behind it. Only thing I see to do is cut that little bit of weather strip out and it should sit flush after that.

Don't be suprised...it's not unusual for APC to cut corners and not pay attention to details. I will never get a product from them...

Fortunately, I only bought 1 item from them which I never installed (Gauge face). I'm sure if I did...it would have been a terrible install especially cause you have to take the needles off.

I learned my lesson with my old Cavalier...
APC Clear Corners: Felt cheep, had fogging issues... Kinda funny considering i live in a desert
APC Euro tails: Also felt cheep, Weather striping didn't stick with a damn, ended up supergluing that in place. Also broke a mounting stud durring the install and had to super glue that back on.
APC M-3 Mirrors: Fitment issues as described.
I also ended up with an APC gauge face I never installed (ordered the wrong part from a store and they don't accept "open box" returns. Sold that to someone else who had issues with the "green light" mode. Said it looked like a muddy green.
Now with my new 04 Fire, I am advoiding APC like the plague

The part that kills me is that they make such crappy parts, yet people have their company logo on their cars everywhere you go. Maybe one day it will make sense to me.

My parents got me mine as a late birthday present because my wife liked them and I figured wtf not. Might be apc but you cant beat free. It also gave me an excuse to run some wires for my blinkers over to the mirrors. And yes, surprisingly the leds actually work. For how long though is a whole nother story.

I got a pair of M3's never had fitment problem only thing ive ever got from them though maybe im one of the few lucky cases lol
