I have a 2002 Sunfire. I have been told that the GT exhaust will fit on my Se, but my question was whether I could cut the GT exhaust off before the cat and cut my exhaust off before the cat and weld the GT exhaust on mine with that. I can't buy a whole system from the junkyard because it's illegal for them to sell a used catalytic converter. I was just wondering if the fitment and location of parts where in the same place.

yeah the exhaust will fit your interior pretty well


all though it defeats the purpose of a/c during the sumer

yes the GT exahust will fit your SE , you would need to cut the where it goes over the axle and have a shop weld it back together

forgot , but it unbolts from a flange behind your car

also you could prob just get the muffler sections from the junk yard , were the exhaust is single at , and just attach that to your stock system
