SHAVED DOOR KIT HELP
Wednesday, July 27, 2005 10:38 AM
Ok guys I just finished installing my autoloc 75lb shave door kit. Was hectic because of the size of the solenoids. So I get them installed and wired up. The Drivers door pulls a little but does not open you can actually see it pulling the wire but not enough to open it. The Pass Side you can hear it move a little but it does not pull the wire at all. I have them kinda angled in front of the door latch. Does that matter should they solenoids be straight ahead with the door latch itself? Also should i remove the rods completely or can i still have them in with the shaved kit?

me too

when i installed my kit, it took a few tries and quite a bit of adjusting to get everything to work right. this site here was very helpful during the install. i'm not sure if it will help you though, but i'd thought i'd post it anyway
