Is it me or is the Sunfire Coupe the bastard child and not have any Altezza/Euro taillights other than the APC crap looking ones?
LMAO!!! Oh thats funny man, I think you may be right the Sunfire Coupe really doesn't have may options, but I wouldn't say the APC ones are crapy, I like the chrome ones!
If they matched the lines of the car, they wouldnt be so bad, but the bug eyed look just doesnt seem to cut it.
I agree...we are the Black Sheeps of the J-body family. Everyone has parts listed for Cavaliers but not sunfires...and yes the only good Alteezas they make for the sunfires are for the 03+ sunfires (which is what I have
).

you can do a 03+ rear conversion and use the 03+ TYC tails.
all you need is the tail lights, trunk panel and rear bumper for the swap. pretty easy to do actually (speaking from experience).

4 doors represent
all 3rd gen cavalier tail lights fit a 95-02 sunfire sedan.

4 doors represent

I would probably say that the Cadillac Cimarron is the true Black Sheep. I don't think I've ever seen a part exclusively for it...
Maybe the J2000...

There a way to use Cavalier taillights, ie a Sunvalier?
Not just the Sunfire....Pontiac denied the existance of my car for a while when I started calling them asking technical question

Dont lie
You wanted to be like me foo!!
So does the '03 bumper, lights and rear panel bolt on with no modifying?
Harlow Cilley wrote:So does the '03 bumper, lights and rear panel bolt on with no modifying?
Yes. Being that we are on the same platform, you can put any 3rd gen rear end on your car or 3rd gen front end on your car without modifying anything but replacing parts.

you can use the outter tails from a set of cavalier tail lights, and you can also swap a cavalier trunk lid onto your sunfire sedan and use the inner tails as well. it's all a direct swap. but it only works on sunfire sedans, not coupes.
Ender_Wiggin wrote:There a way to use Cavalier taillights, ie a Sunvalier?
not on a sunfire coupe.
Harlow Cilley wrote:So does the '03 bumper, lights and rear panel bolt on with no modifying?
yup, direct swap. didn't take me very long to do my swap by myself. just take off your stock stuff and put the new parts in their place. no modification needed.
Sweet....where did you get the rear panel for the trunk? Junk yard or did you but it new?
I have an rksport front bumper on they way (hopefully) and I was going to go with an'03+ rksort rear bumper with euro lights.
