I want to replace my headlight/foglights with a brighter bulb. One that almost looks HID. I currently have silverstars but i want a more HID look. Will putting These In my car do any damage. Bulb Type: 9007
Wattage (draw): 65/45
Wattage (output): 140/120
Color: Ultra White
Color Temp: 5150K

I have heard of damage from using higher wattage bulbs. Melted wires. Melted headlight lens. Melted bulb socket.

As long as the draw does not exceed that of the factory bulbs your safe.
