This may be an odd question, but if i replace my stock trunklid with a carbon fiber one, will the back of my car raise up? how much lighter is the carbon fiber trunk lid?
The carbon fiber is probably 10-20 lbs lighter. I never weighed mine but I could tell it was lighter. With that much of a weight difference I don't think your rear will lift you at all.
where did you get your carbon fibet trunk lid? i cant find a 2002 cavalier trunklid

j.w but how do you shave a keyhole on a carbon fiber trunk??? and why would you shave a keyhole??? its so easy to just bust a window and hit the electronic button to pop the trunk.. rather than pop the lock
