I was washing/waxing my car the other day. I made it to the hood when I noticed very small black spots on my finish, I tryed scrubbing them off the only thing that worked was my fingernail but some are still to small , It might be fall out since I work at a shop but I am stumped here, thanks for any help
Have you tried using a clay bar to remove the spots. Thats what I do at the dealership to remove the rust spots and overspray at the dealership that I work at.

No but thats a good idea thanks, Is there a type of grade of clay bar I should look for? or a brand name?
That clay bar takes too long and costs too much. Go buy some Meguiers Body Scrub that stuff works wonders. I've used it to get a 2 week old milkshake off a black cars hood in the dead of summer (dont ask)
Just try it its great stuff and no its not abrasive and does not damage the paint.
good luck
Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.
jackalope is it the same as body solvent? because they don't show body scrub on there site
actually i do car detail and we use this stuff called SOLV-IT...i cant member the company but i can check the company name for ya...or you could try laquer thinner...it shouldn't eat the paint since i also use it at work...
claybar is the safest way to go
I work at a body shop too.... use a clay bar. Nothing can go wrong that way!

you could just go to a dealership and go to the garage where they wash cars and maybe you'll find some1 cool and they can try and get it off for ya...
