black chrome headlights

I have an idea, but no time to tinker with it.

My 03 cav recently got hit, retard lady backed into my parked car, it messed up a few things including my headlight assemblys.

My idea is fairly simple, the chrome reflective pieces (for the actual headlight) could be easily coated with a chrome coloring film (I can't seem to find the website for this product right now). I will be having my whole car painted midnight chrome eventually, and I'm thinking the interior will be glassed and black chromed also.

If anyone has any other idea about this please share with me... I might have some spare time soon (framing houses in -15 degree weather doesn't happen often), and I will try to make a prototype to see if the lights get dimmer from doing this.

Please give some input on this all ideas welcomed.

the headlights are SILVER CHROME

he is talking about BLACK CHROME

i think its worth a shot , might look cool

although i think leaving the main headlight area chrome , and doing the black areas in the black chrome might look better

I am going to photochop it later tonight...

But yes I want black chrome where it is silver chrome, you can also get almost any color chrome you want, since I have 2 trashed headlight units now I will skroo with it when I get more time.

Maybe I should've used bold text for the black chrome part.
