i know that making your own clear corners has be poted before but i cant find it when i search all the forums. anyway i need to know how to seperate the lens from the rest of the light. i heard of baking them. if anybody knows how to please share the wisdom. im not doing this to make clear corners just repairs on lights in general.

I don't suggest taking the lens off. Use a dremel thru the bulb hole and cut the orange bubble off and grind it down. Then take a screwdriver and bust the orange reflector on the side and dump it all out thru the bulb's hole.

Good point. I automatically revert to 2000-2002 since that's what I drive.

this is just a general question. i just want to know how it is done. my car is a 97 cavy. but a work i fix lights and iam wanting to know how to get the lens off so a can do repairs and rebuilds on anything 96 and up. it will be for all kind of lens. and also i could swear that i read that you half to bake the 95-99s.

on the 95-99, im not positive on baking, but i think you are right. the 00-02's can be cut with a razor blade, no baking. and the 03-05's im pretty sure have to be baked
