Do the outer taillights on the 95-99 cavalier taillights have a second bulb in them for a turn signal? has anyone ever heard of the outer taillights having a second bulb?? one for the turn signal and one for the brake light? instead of a dual purpose bulb?

mine have 2.. dunno why.. there was a 194 bulb in the outter corner behind the reflector and then the normal 3057 bulb..
i don't know when it ever turned on for turnsignals or w/e but the 3057 were still dual-purpose.. u can just take the 194 bulb out and leave them unplugged if u get aftermarket tails or newer ones.. but make sure u take the bulb out.. with it in there ull melt the plastic in the taillight if u have it touching it

From what I have read in the past, it seems like the first two phases of the 3rd generation had a random car every once in a while with 2 tail light bulbs, while the majority had 1...GM's idea of a good prank, I guess...

My right one had two bulbs while my left one only had one.

I was switch tailights with the ECOnator ( Encriptor ) and we were like , oh man i got one JDM stock turn signal.

95s and 96s came with the two bulbs in the outer. the 194 is just a side marker light. thats it. not a turn signal or anything.

My stock 05 tails and 2 lights in each turn signal, so when i switched to altezzas, I just unplugged the smaller ones. You don't even notice a difference.

Beat me to it, but yes. ONLY 95-96. My wife's car was a 96 Z24, & I put
2K Tails on it for some time. I just took out the 194's & tucked the extra
socket in the quarter well.
