OK here is the deal. I have a 95-99 z24 front bumper for my 95 4 door cavy. I'm having a little bit of trouble putting the front bumper on. And I think its cause I need to trim the crush guard. CAN anybody please help me and let me know if I'm right

after i took the front bumper off my cavy and tried to put the z24 front bumper on it would not fit. Its this gray look piece which i think is the crush guard thats stopping everything from fitting. I dont know what else i need to make it work. Is there any other 4 door out there that has done this and made it work. and it looks like everything lines up. DOES the z24 have a special piece that i need to make it work that the 95-99 4 door ls model does not have?

prolly just need to cut down the crush guard

use a hacksaw or a cutting wheel/grinder

yes the z24 crush guard is a white foam piece. your probably hitting where the licence plate goes cause its set back where a normal cover is flat. the z24 crush guard is indented in that spot.

have you swapped on the z24 fender liners? that could be the problem... or you'll have to trim your stock fender liners but it would probably be easier to get the z24 ones.

Check out my build thread!

it should fit right on with no trimming at all
