I put a set of m3 l.e.d. mirrors on my car, and i was wondering what the best way of wiring them up was?

What color LEDs? Only legal way to have them wired is if they're amber for the turn signals. Otherwise wire either the white or blue to power and black to ground and put in a switch. I did that with the led F1 mirrors on my car.

I need to know this also, I have done alot of searching in the old archives and havent really found anything, lots of post just not the correct information.
I tried hooking mine up yesterday to one of my front blinkers; I hooked the power to the white wire( there is also a blue and a ground) and then I grounded. The power was being tapped from the brown wire from the blinker, i tried the blinker and nothing, but when I turned the lights on the white wire casing began to smoke and melt.
I also tried hooking power to the blue wire from the mirror to no avail, i tried all wires from the blinker in this way except for the black on since that is the ground. I was wondering if the blinker wires ran into the car from the front? can the mirrors be tapped in that way?

well how hard is it to hook it to the turn signals?

its not hard, you just need to run a wire from the blinker up front, just use a razor and cut a slit in the wire the peel off that part of wire covering, then just hook in the lead wire you may want to put a bead of solder on it and then put some electrical tape on it or buy that liquid electrical tape stuff.
