I have heard alot of good things about house of kolor, but then again I have also have good experience with dupont. I'm looking to paint my car this month and can't decide on a name brand of paint. any help or suggestions would be great. thanks

I personally like HOK more...what kinda paint are you looking at getting?

well...hok is the best you can buy as far as raw product ...is the paint your looking at a base/ clear or is it a tri-coat?

ppg dbc system i think is the easiest to use, it uses one reducer for base for clear, for sealer using dx 57 which is the base coat activator so ppg says makes it chip resistant helps with film build to apply graphics helps with mettalic to lay out much flatter then dbc does already
more money?? yes but well worth the cost
ppg`s clear will go right over HOK base coat i personally don`t like HOK, i would rather much use ppg`s produtcs

ok thanks.. I have all the estimets together I will keep everyone posted on how its going. they said its going to take 6 weeks to strip and paint and put the car back together.. I am getting this done right... I know I will never get my money out of it again so I am not selling it. but that probebly fits the majority of us on this site. thanks for your inputs.
