I thought people have used HIDs in them before, so I just wanna make sure before I buy some like Larry..

im guessing they may very well melt the housing. also, i heard those things have terrible light output to begin with. but cant say ive ever seen them in person

My buddy derrick had the same set I got.. and they were bright with the bulbs included.. he put in SILVERSTARS and output sucked ass.. I dont get that.. but oh well..

i mean, i guess its a toss up. you'll either melt the housing, be shooting light all over the road(cuz im not sure if they were really tested for light direction like OEM's are) or they will work fine, lol. id say buy the actual HID Projector housings, and fab them into those projecter headlights

The projectors are junk.

Alot of people use these projectors with or without the cheap hid conversion kit, which isnt all that much cheaper than actually retrofitting... and still claim to have bad light output. Its because the projectors are just meant for looks, not functionality.

Doesnt matter how much light u put in there if it isnt setup in the right way, you wont get a good output from it.

Retrofit is the only way to do it.
