Has anyone installed the pure bmx body kit on an 03-05 cav? If so is there some kind of modification that needs to be done to get the rear end to fit? I can't seem to get it to fit. I tried all day saturday to do it.
How was I suppose to know? So what you are saying is I am screwed?
The Pure/Versus body kit should fit near perfect, especially the urethane kit.
Did you leave the stock rear bumper on the car? Any pictures to show what's not fitting right?

It is the urethane kit. I took the whole rear off the car. I have no pics. It just don't go around the sides right. I can get one side to fit and the other just won't reach. How do you do it? I am completley new to this.
I can't really tell why it won't fit.

put the stock rear bumper on! you'll need it for attachments of the sections under the tail lights
the bomex rear is DESIGNED to fit over the STOCK rear bumper!!!

Do you mean the steel bumper? I had that on. There are plastic pieces that attach to the stock bumper cover. Should I attach those to the new rear?
put your stock bumper back on. the bomex bumper goes over the original bumper. im not sure how since i dont have that kit so maybe someone else can help you with that

^^^ Exactly what he said... This new rear bumper cover you have goes OVER your stock rear bumper. So put your stock rear bumper back on, and that should help you with the fit. hopefully atleast....

It won't fit with the rear on or off. It is just a bad kit. I have an 04 cav.
There is no way this thing is going over the stock bumper cover.
I tried that. The part says it is for 94 to 99 cav. It was my understanding that 94 to05 it would fit. Is that wrong?
The rear still seems like it is not wide enough to wrap around the rear of the car. Do I bolt the new peices to the new bumper or what?
the new filler pieces will attach to under the tail lights.
also make sure you use the factory black hangers (the pieces that look like #7) by the rear wheel wells.
the bumper will mount from inside the trunk area.

wow this whole thread makes my head hurt.
installing this is easy. the fact that its urethane makes it even easier. get the bumper to fit on and have it hooked on one side. once its in place to hook the other side your gonna have to pull it to get it to wrap around the black plastic piece in wheel well. it will fit, you just have to put effort into it. its simple to install
The rear has the same pieces like my stock 04 bumper.
