ok so i have a question say i want to mold my stock rear bumber to my car. I cant use fiberglass right becuase fiberglass wont stick to the plastic but can i use bondo or even like kitty hair (bondo with fiberglass strands) would that work in molding it all in to the metal. And i got another question say i have a kind of add on fiberglass peioce to the rear bu,ber like a body kit. Now how would i mold the abs plastic and the fiberglass together would i use the same thing bondo or what??? I searched and i couldnt find anything about it also i didnt know if you needed a special like plastic adheshion promoter for the bondo or not i am just confused thats all

No, use Fusor, bondo will crack off, so will fiberglass.

well it is a fiberglass body kit but the thing is the rear part of the kit has to be molded onto the stock peice it can be done cause i ahve seen it on the car so it has to be done somehow. So the fiberglass peice has to be molded to the stock peice and then in turn i wanted to mold the whole rear bumber into the car so basically it was fiberglass molded to the abs bu,ber then the abs bumber molded to the steel on the car. I hope i explained it well enough

The only thing we do for interior abs plastics is turn it into swiss cheese by drilling lots of little holes into it. When you spread your bondo or glass over it, it will kind of rivet itself to the abs by expanding on the other side of the hole. Then it has a little more grip, but still I think you will see cracking and pulling away.

Wow, trying to read your initial post gave me a headache. Time to crack open some Aleve. Try using some punctuation next time; it would do us all a favor.

I did that on my rear, its been on for 2 years and has yet to crack. but I drilled like 2783891273 holes and did some deep scratches in the plastic, then I completely covered the stock bumper in FG and molded it straight to the metal, so the plastic bumper is sort of, under all that FG. so my FG body kit bumper is molded on to FG, so it works
