hey, im i the process of installing my body kit....and i have noticed that the new paint is darker than the old paint by a little bit... i know this is from fading.... but how do i get the two to match?? do i buff it out or what? thanx guys
You should haev had the shop that painted it match the color exactly to your car and buff it to match because they probably jsut got the paint code and painted it. I know from 3 years of fading on my car the guy who painted it when he took the picture of the paint and inputed it into the computer to tell him how to mix it....my car was closer to a BMW blue than the cavalier arrival blue metallic. Depending on how off the color is it might be able to be buffed a little but not much. Might need to get it repainted buddy.
