I know this has been somewhat covered in the FAQ above, but I need clear confirmation. I have an 02 (2 door) Sunfire, will the APC clear tails fit my car?
I know they were discontinued, but I've found a couple of sets thanks to you guys. They're listed as 95-98 Cavalier. The Faq says only 4 door Sunfires share tails with Cavaliers. How is this possible? It looks like the outer tails on a Cavalier are exactly the same as a Sunfire's.
Somebody have any info on these APC clears or about fitment between Cavaliers and Sunfire tails?
I might be willing to mold and shape a little if I have to. These tails are hot. And not too many have them.
Notice how on your Sunfire the edges towatd the trunklid are at an angle
Now notice how the inner edge of the Cavalier taillights are straight vertical
That's why they won't really fit without a bit of work.
I suggest getting these

Thats a 2 door, he has a 4 door Sunfire, they use the same sized outters as the Cavalier (actually same trunk, different filler)

but here is ur answer for taillights
95-05 Cavaliers = Same taillights as 95+ Sunfire
4DOORS
95-02 Sunfires
2 Doors= 95-05 Cavalier taillights
will not work..
95+Sunfire
4 Doors = any Cavalier taillights will work, they share the same trunklids but the sunfires have a peice that goes across teh trunk..
And to get ur direct answer.. No the 95+ Cavalier APC Discontinued Clear Taillights will not work on your 02 (2 door) Sunfire
Like mentioned above, IZN TRBL makes clear taillights for sunfire 2drs so get ahold of him if u are looking for a set..
