i was wondering if there is some way to take off the side door moldings by the side windows....i bought this carbon fiber vinyl and i want to wrap them but i was wondering if those pieces just snap out or what????if anyone knows please hit me back...it would be greatly appreciated
ya, you have to take off the seat belts then take out your back seat and they pop right out. remember when you take out your back seat the back portion it only comes out at a angle so fold it down a little untill it slides out dont try to force it
well if you're talking about the moldings outside...they dont pop off...u have to take them off with wire and adhesive remover...and then ud have to glue it back on when ur done wrapping it....but if you're talking about the
interior then go with what chad said
^fat body skinny arse
is he talking about the b-pillar
yes im talking bout the b pillar....on the outside of the car....is there some way those things come off????
They are screwed and clipped in.
You need to remove your inner door panal, to get to the lower screw.
by the inner door panel do u mean the panel that runs with the seatbelt cuz i got a four door and i want to wrap all 4 b pillars
Also the carbon fiber vinyl has an outdoor life of 2-3 years before it starts going to black if you bought the high quality stuff or it can last only 6-12 months for the cheap stuff. If you are trying to get better wrapping with your vinyl as you are laying it down try to heat it a bit with a hairdryer. It makes it more pliable and bendable. I own a sticker business and have a wrapped a couple things in carbon vinyl.
One more thing. Don't heat it up too much or you can get holes in your vinyl. Just enough to get it warmer.
