all cf trunks ive seen stick up in the corner. the only idea i would have is when you open your trunk, there is that lip on the inside that has the foam strip along it. you can tap that up w/ a hammer and bring it closer to the lid

the best way to do it, is to loosen all 4 bolts on the lid, and the latch ones, take the tension rods out, and close it to fit how you want. then retighten all bolts while it is closed to your liking. worked for me and another friend of mine

no leaks, no fitment issues

^^ basically what i did..

just sat the trunk on the arms and closed it.
use some thick green tape to hold it down and sat a couple big books on it(i put rags under em just in case also) cuz i didnt remove the tension bars.
then used wooden stir sticks and got it gaped on the sides how i wanted and have it all position where i wanted..
then climbed inside and got in the trunk and took the bolts and just bolted it in as tight as possible where it wouldnt move any.
removed everything off it and opened it and checked to make sure all the bolts were tight enough.
Then installed the latch..

i actually thought bought pushing the latch on where it latches on the car then lowering the trunk to it and bolting it on in the inside cuz then i woulda known it was already lined up but i didnt think it would be to difficult cuz it lined up right the first time..

Also i beleive to avoid the trunk from sitting to high is u need to get a smaller weather stripping.. contact GlassClassPerformance and theyll sell u one.

I got mine at summit racing for a really good price. $395.00 plus shipping...its a jsp. VIS doesnt make them anymore. Because VIS was my first choice and when i called them directly they said they were discontinued.
