Street Fighter / Combat body kit installation help

I bought a street fighter body kit and need some help... im installing it now and cant figure out how to support the front bumper. You have to take out the crush bar, drop the windshield washer fluid tank, and reposition the horn. With all of this, especially taking out the crush bar, theres no where for support for the middle of the bumper... Its only being held up by the fenders basically. Ive been told and heard about taking hangers and drilling holes near the bumper light areas and then attaching hangers through those and tieing near the hood latch?? Is this really the only way?? Also the side skirts... need help figuring out how to support and install the side skirts.... Any help would be grealy appreciated... Thanks a ton!!

you can take the crushgaurd and cut it with a sawzall or sumthing enough where it fits in with the bumper to add some support.

also when u took the stock bumper off did u have 4 plastic pins that held the top of the bumper to he metal bumper? if so u could always line upthe holes on ur front body kit, drill holes afteru get em all marked in the right spot, and just install the plastic push pins back in or support.. just push the top back till the front is how u want it where its not sagging or w/e and then drill.. cuz ull use those pins as something to hold the top of the bumper back so it doesnt sag.

As for the windshield resivior go to the junkyard and find a 2000 cavalier(maybe sunfire.. not for sure on them) or newer.. they have a windshield resivior that doesnt come out to the front bumper like the seethrough ones.. the smaller ones are black plastic so ull have to look for em..

as for side skirts the install is super easy.. i used my dremel box and sat it in the middle and used it to hold my sides up to the car then i just went to each end in the wheel wells drilled the holes and installed teh screws.. once they were held up, then u can add screws where ever needed in the door to stop rubbing and more in teh wheel well if it needs it to support em a lil better.

What I meant for the side skirts was that you have to dremel some of the fin off in order for the die skirt to fit in the door sill and stuff... I figured it out last night after pondering for hours.. lol... those pins on the front bumper went into the brsuh bar.... which I had to take off so I duno how to do it

I told you to do the hanger thing unless you wanna try to keep the crush bar. The only reason I didn't keep the crush bar is because I was cuttin so much of it off already. I'll try to get those pics today

On mine I kept the metal "bumper " but took off all the rubber crushguard. I have a different kit, so I dunno if that helps or not.

What I did to get the rubber off the metal bumper was to heat the rivets w/ a torch and use a flathead to pry the rubber out from underneath the rivet. Worked extremely well.

Then I lined up the new front bumper the way I wanted it and drilled new holes to line up w/ the stock holes in the metal "bumper".
