Ok so i went to ajunk yard the other day and i found a busted up totaly wrecked Sunfire. Everything was smashed on it but before it was smashed seem to be a really nice car. 17" MR7 rims, graphics up the side of the car, nice muffler and HOLY SH*T! RK Sport Lip kit on the rear bumper. FRont bumper was gone but the rear bumper had the lip yet. Only problem there was only one side to it. Is there anyway i can take that side and fiberglass it and make the other side? like make a reversed copy of it? i cant think of anyway to do it. Any one know how this can be done?
Are you serious??
You will spend SOOOoooo much more time on fixing that wrecked mess then to just buy a set.

what do you mean? its only making a new side and its not that big? the peice is only like 5" by 10" at most. Or am i missin something here?
Rk Sport Lip kit is urethane, glass doesn't like to stick to it very well, so unless you can find the otherside and repair it with urethane filler etc, your sol. Even then it will most likely never be perfect again, spend the 150 bux and get a new lip.

if everything was only that easy. your better off buying a new lip.
1 because it would be too much time, effor and work and it would be a waste of time imo
2 you dont even seem like you know what your doing (not trying to be a dick but its not as easy as it seems)

yea ^ pretty much. i've fiberglassed alot of things before but i've never made a reverse copy of something out of fiberglass
its gonna be hard cuz you have to make an opposite hand mold. to me its not worth it but if you got alot of free time go for it
