Ok I have a VIS Carbon Fiber Invader hood for my 02 Cavalier. I am sure some of you have seen that carbon fiber fades after a while. I've only had the hood for about 2 years. I was wondering if anyone knows what to do about that? The "fading" cant be buffed out because it is under the clear coat in the carbon fiber. I wish I would have known this happens
before I bought the damn thing! Anyways any suggestions would be cool, thanks guys
Just as most Carbon Fiber is designed for.... Paint it.
If you NEED the carbon fiber texture to show through take it to a good painter who can wetsand it down and apply a high quality clear coat that has the UV protectant in it.

needs to be recleared. you can try and wax it and it will look good for a few days then it will just fog up again
