i just installed a drift front bumper on my car(cavi z24 with a 99 sunfire front swap) to the point were it's drivible(still needs some work).
it's way too low. i got a 2 finger clearance on the lowest point of the bumper and i scrapped on dips in the road. i'm on intrax springs(i'm not sure of the drop on those, they were installed by the previous owner). and i'm on stock z24 rims,not sure the tire size. so off the top of my head, here are the fixes i've came up with: bigger profile tires($$$$),higher springs($$), modify the bumper i.e. trim the bottom, or let the road do the trimming
money is a little tight, and i need a fix asap becuase i'm going to the track tomorrow.....any ideas?

if any thing put the stock bumper back on. then save for springs that arnt that low.
i think the drift is the lowest for body kits for the jbodys
^^ yeh drift/type j are in that realm.. I know 2 people here in indiana(karnage and twiztid cav) with the drift fronts.. and they both are on pro-kit.. it looks like the perfect drop for drift.. and it'll give u a lil more clearance..
1) bigger tires is not the answer, it will throw off your speedo and odometer and cause your tranny to work harder
2) change springs is the best option
3) you can section out the bumper if you know how to glass
drift kit is the lowest kit for cavaliers
thanks for the suggestions. i figured springs were probibly the best cure. i was aware that the drift was the lowest for our cars(been on the org for a while). i have plenty of experiance with fiberglassing. i may take it off this weekend and trim the bottom corners, i got to extend the mounting points to fenders anyway, so i got to take it off. thanks again
