regardless.. his ride had some cool taillights.
I wondered then, perhaps instead of getting the (rice) ick.. Altezza Taillights, I could go this route instead.

Now its not painted with Niteshade... it would be semi-transparent clear.. or slightly smoked.. not sure..
The only question is where do I find them..???

Wouldn't a very light coat of nighshade work? If not, what about some transparent grey vinyl laid ontop of the tail lights?

thats an old picture.. Ive since removed all badges, emblams.. and the like..
I spoke with Josh.. (inz tribal) and we have worked out some ideas..
(dont worry Josh.. Ill talk to you again, soon... just doing some research..)
I picked up a perfect set of '99 taillights for 30bucks.. Those are in the car right now..
and I am in the process of removing the lenses from the stock 2000 taillights.. now Im drawing up an idea for Josh
and eventually I will try and utilize his plastics knowlege, and get these lenses bent up..
I tried stretching some light tint, (for windows) over the stock lenses, as perhaps an easy fix.. but it was nothing
but aggrevation, and just about put me round the bend..
Painting them is Ok.. I guess.. but they will have to be (like Evil Cavalier mentioned) on the inside.. but will need clear
lenses to do that...
Im thinkng of buying a set of altezza tails, and ripping them apart to salvage the lenses, I dont know..
im still open to ideas.. of course..
and ps..
I even go so far as pull stickers off other peoples cars, or at least try and peel them a little, just to get them started
once you find the idea that works best definitly let me know, ive been wanting to do that to my silver z24 for a while
