I know many of you all have bought the ebay projectors. Well I had a set on my 1998 cavalier and decided to put them up on ebay. They are just standard projectors no halos or leds or anything. So I am going to be getting rid of the car and put the stock headlights back in. I listed these up on ebay. The buyer bought them and no is paypal frauding me because he says they are not from a cavalier. Will someone please join in with me in saying the bulbs that come with these projectors from ebay are 9005 for the high and a make shift 9005 for the lowbeam. Thats what they come with. Projectors need a 9005 bulb in them. They come with phillips bulbs. My s10 projectors were the same way. It is a bummer but nothing a dremmel can not take care of if you grind off the bumps on the inside of the light bulb plug. I just ran the halogen that came in them and the buyer obviously is trying to put "blue" bulbs in them. This is very frustrating because I know this is right and he is just understanding this is how the projectors like this from ebay are.

tell he and ebay exactly what you have told us. you should be in the resolution center right now with paypal. there is where you and the buyer resolve the problem and paypal will have a record of the conversation between the two of you. explain exactly what you have told us, and im sure either he or paypal will understand. mention the addresses of the other auctions of the same product that is listed.
anyway, good luck with your ordeal. it isnt too much of a problem. just make sure you discuss everything with him in the resolution center so paypal can monitor.

wow...i never knew you couldnt use the stock bulbs with those projectors...that really sucks ass i wont be buying them now. i really like my xenon bulbs.

yup both sets i have work the exact same way as you are describing, the 9005 for both high and low beams. if you want, have the buyer email me and i can tell him about the bulb situation. you can even link him to my car domain page which has pics of both cars i have that have the projectors, one chrome set and one black set.

Same, 9005 for both High and low, ran into same problem, went to buy silverstars once one burnt, the 9006 wouldn't fit, so i took the original Phillips one out, it said 9005, so i jsut bought 9005 and sure enough it fit. its really no big deal.
mine also had both 9005 bulbs but mine came with a harness adapter to just plug and play..phil
