i got a set of new tails and noticed that the outers have threaded rods w/ nuts to hold them in place but on the inners it is just like 3 plastic sticks poking out. i looked in my trunk and i thought they had nuts holding them in. am i sepposed to just force them to thread onto the plastic or what?

The nuts will make their own thread.

thanks i was juts worried they wouldnt tighten down well. im puttin them on in a couple hours.
