just got my carbon tails tonight for my 04 sunfire. went to put them on and i had a close look at where u bolt them down and it has no threads. and i wanted to know if it comes like this?
the "points" on the tails should be plastic.....just screw the nut on from factory...they will cut their own threads.
this is for a cavy but it should be the same concept for a sunfire....someone correct me if i'm wrong.

yea use the original hardware and just screw it on. I noticed the same thing. But then i got crafty.
