Does any body know how to use the ram air hood ? would a cone filer work or do you need to modify the stock air box?

you have to have the stock intake in the car. then you have to cut around the top of the intake box, thats were the air from the hood enters the intake making it a ram air intake.
atleast thats what i understand has to be done.
12.7@110MPH with 10PSI.

if you use the short ram intake system the filter sits directly under the ram air outlet on the underside of the hood. you will lose a little flow cause nothing to catch it but still works great my two friends have rams one a fire and the other a cav so looks and functional. or just mode the stock(sucks on looks) but any choice the ram functions unless u go cheap and get the fake ram hood then its just a show peice.
Or you could turbo your car, and put the filter directly under the scoop, after modifying the underside of the hood. In that case, you'll be blowing air over the turbo constantly. Wait a minute, that's exactly what I did. Ram-air only adds a couple horses any way. And the short-ram only sits close to the outlet not quite directly under it, been there.

the filter does not sit under the opening of the hood , no matter what wai intake you have
