Well, my car didn't come with the factory fogs and I wanted to buy some off of ebay that I have seen. If i get them can I splice them to work when I turn on my headlights or should I do a different approach? Would my DRLs mess them up if I wire them that way?

How come noone ever helped this guy I have the same question

I thought about doing the same thing with my '98 but instead I just wired 'em to a switch in the dash, that way you can turn 'em on whenever. To answer your question, it can be done since I've seen it done but somebody'll have to post exactly how.

gm even puts the fogs on a separate switch. splicing it in would have to be just for the switch not power as you would loose power to the headlights dimming them maybe not noticeable and depending on whether you went parallel or series i c potential drawbacks to both. my thinking would be to wire the power to the fogs separate using a fuse. and looking up the diagram for switch for lights and making that the same switch for the fogs. i work electronics on fighter aircraft so if you could get me the wiring diagram for the headlights, and the fogs you want i could come up w/somthing for you.
