Headlight wires
Sunday, February 25, 2007 1:05 AM
Im trying to find the 2 wires for my power and ground for my HID's because the plugs do not match up. I got a test light trying to find out witch wires are my high beams and such. I took my driver side headlight out and it has 2 blue wires and a pinkish color wire. when the park lights are on they all have power, The middle has power all the time. when the lights are on the pink wire has power and when the high beam are on the blue has power (Not the middle) and the pink does not. any idea what i should tap the wires in to? I have a red and black wire that need to be connected. Please help!

gotta keep in mind that our cars have reverse polarity, they have a constant 12v and a switched ground....

the middle is the (-). the two on the sides are both (+). one (+) is for the highs, and the other (+) is for the lows.
just keep your ground in the middle, and try one side. if it does not light up with the lowbeams, turn on your highbeams and it should. if it does not..... i am no further help to you LOL.

good luck buddy!
