alright guys income is in and im tierd of losing shows cause other cavys and fires have lambos heres my problem my side skirts are molded on to my fender has any one ever installed lambos with out removing there fenders...
If i recall some people have done it before.. luckily i got my lambos on before i got the kit molded.. Now i just hope i dont blow a strut i think itll be a pain to change out with the sides molded.
I had some lambos on my sunfire for a while. I also had a body kit on it.
1. You need more than one person to install
2. Configure some 2x4's and a jack to support the door while you unbolt it.
3. Slide door as far back as you can from car without waving to splice the wires.
4. Unbolt stock hinges. (very tight, and be careful of fender edge, chips very easily. trust me on that. lol)
5. Install Vertical hinges.
6. Slide door back up to hinge and bolt back to new hinge & remove jack from under door.
7. Have a buddy lift up the door then Install shock.
8. Make any adjustments needed.
9. Turn some heads with your sweet new lambo doors.
By the way, I never had to splice into my wires, I just had to pull a little bit on the harness and there was enough to open and close door.

i wouldnt do the install myself i just want to know if its possable to do the install with molded sides to fenders...
How the hell are u gonna do it without removing the Fenders? There is no way to take off the hinge. You have to have the door closed to be able to remove the hinge and then aligning it?
To answer your question you need the fender to be removed from the car to install them.
you can go underneath the fender well if you remove the plastic trim ..
its been done a ton of times search around and you will find posts about it
im in the same boat. and yes it can be done. i will be doing mine as soon as its warm. people i talk to say gear wrenches are your friend. although i have almost every tool i could ever need for my car but gear wrenches come in handy.
i did it with mine molded it wasnt fun but i did it. so you do not need to have the fender off but it is a lot easier with them off.
thanx im going to speak to a few shops here to see if they have the balls to do it
yes it can be done thats how i did mine and i did mine by myself at the house it wasnt that hard just took a little time
I wouldn't let a shop do it.......it can be done yourself!
i did mine without removing the fenders its not that bad, i took off the door bolts first and got the door off and then took the hinge off of the body. like someone else said gear wrenches are perfect for this. i did the whole process myself, until i had to install the shock then i needed someone to hold the door up.
Which kit are you guys using?
i used a rip off decah kit from ebay and then an mms kit from j-eazy
