ok, i want to get an import fighter fron bumper. i talked to karo and the quote he got was 247$ to ship to canada!!!!!!!!
WTF!!!!! thats almost the price of the bumper. ups said the box is too big.
anybody got their body kit shipped to canada for a reasonable price? what company did you used?

extremely long distance, PLUS extra fees to ship across the border.

try checking some local freight shipping companies. They usually cost less BUT it may take a little bit longer than you originally hoped to get the bumper. If you don't mind the extra wait it's worth it. good luck with your bumper =)

i dont care about the waiting, it could take 3months and i wouldn't care less... i just want it for mid summer!!
i dunno what company to look for, i mean i'm in canada and i dont think Karo got all day long to search for a local company that would ship to canada for a fair price...
maybe if you guys can provide some link it would help.

Heh man, I live in BC and I feel your pain. I recently bought type J sides from a company in Quebec called onderground design. Not sure if they have what your looking for, but they carry body kits. Hope this helps.

thanx man, but i jusr checked adn the bumper is 585 + 50 fees and i would be able to pick it up. there might be handling fees in top of that... so its at least 645$cnd. thats is very expensive for a single bumper!!!

Why not have it shipped to a place just before the border, cross over and go get it and just pay taxes on it as you cross? Cheaper, more expensive ... ? Some seem to think it is cheaper...

i have checked those that sell it here, it goes to around 700$ with taxes and fees... thats too much!!
now for getting it shipped near the border and cross, i dont know anyone on the other side.

^ don't forget that once you pay the huge amount on shipping fees you will also be charged with a boarder fee too. The shipping fee is what it will cost Karo to ship it to you via UPS. The UPS will then charge you for a boarder fee. expect another huge lump bill to pay if you get something shipped from US to CDN.

I remember when I got my racing seats 4 years ago shipped from Texas to Toronto. I was charged 175 CDN per racing seat for boarder fees.

yeah but i could always arranged things with the shipper so i dont get ripped by UPS...

cuz yeah they are more expensive but don't forget you need to transfer the USD in canadian, border and like 250 $ US of shipping ...
at onderground you add like 50 $ for shipping ...

yeah, the bumper is 585 + 50$ fees, + probably both taxes, + shipping. so probably in the 750-800 depending on shipping... or might be able to pick it up, but still it would be around 700$
i had in mind a shipping quote from the state at 120-150. i asked 2 different ebay seller for a rear bumper and was quote 110 and 136. an other one for front and rear at 166. so i thought that 250 was too much and that maybe there was a company out there that would ship for less! maybe if the bumper comes from east cost!
i dunno... maybe i'll just get ripped accept it and get it at 700 lol!!

Have you checked with www.streetforce.ca? I think they're based in quebec somewhere and are a canadian distributor of RKsport stuff... might save you some money if you pick it up from them.

Yeah but he will get rape ! Street Force are soooooooo expensive for tha same parts you can find anywhere else !

well... i checked the site and there is no price so i requested a price for the bumper. we'll see what they tell me!
