tape your door all the way around in place where you want it to sit. remove the fender, and unbolt the hinges. door will stay in place if taped good. replace hinges then put fender back on...done
easiest way to not have to deal with alot of positioning and scraping

What he said... that would be the easier way... unless you like dealing with aligning the door, which can be a real big pita
