im looking for a write up about painting tail lights i seen it awhile ago but i cant seem to find it agian.

depends on how your going to paint your tails, nightshade or with color paint. First you scuff up the lenses with a fine grit sand paper i think 1000 should do. Mask off the area you dont want painted then lay down some primer, sand the primer if any imperfections. Then lay down some paint a couple of coats. Sand it down again with fine grit sand paper(wetsand) Then a couple of coats of clear and your done. Thats the easy way of how to do it, With Nightshade its the same principle but without the primer part. Hope this helps you
