Does anyone think that might be a little to shiny? I like the idea of not having to polish it every damn time it gets dirty. But would it look to cheap? I love polished parts, hate polishing
should look good, never too shiny. just depends on what else you put around it. if ur gonna have everything else polished then id polish it..
isnt there a paint that has the polished look? or could u polish it real good and clear it?

dupont has a engine clear you can use. I think autozone carries it. From what i hear its awsome. Just paint or polish your parts and then paint this stuff over it and it gives it an awsome shine and protects it very good.
i wasnt aware you could chrome aluminum... god that'd be tits if you can...
also, if there is a such thing as clear powdercoating i think that would RULE for polished stuff.
there is a clear powdercoat i have seen but it has a yellow tint to it when it dries.

BOOOOOOOO ftl. damn thats a major loss. i was hoping this was possible.
do this not chrome but not totally polished it took me about 20 min max. i like the look better than chrome
With the car being white i opted to do the cover in very lossy black. ill get some pics up later today.
ooooooo yeah that will look great!
If I could, I would chrome everything. That would be tight.
so did you take some pics?
