I know on "Normal" painted wheels you can take 2000g to them and take the clear off and primer them.. Can i do the same on the stock chrome rims on my cavy?? Thanks for any info!!
As far as I know from people that have tried it, paint does not want to stick to chrome for very long. But I see places like on Unique Whips painting customers chrome wheels to match the color of the car, and I don't see a company with a reputation like theirs doing work they can't stand behind, so I dunno, I would think that it would take some major scuffing to bite deep through the chrome, then using an adhesion promoter.
