Headlight removal

For the life of me I can't figure out how to replace the bulbs on these dang cars. I have an 01 by the way. My driver bulb is toasty and the only way I can even think of, is to just back out the set screws completely. Am i missing something?

Ha, stupid cramped cars. Everything on my 79 Camaro is easy... Of course the gas mileage isn't there, nor is it tame enough for daily driving to and from work.

Help me boys. I don't need a ticket for no headlight, I'll get arrested

Should be two bolts under the shroud for the radiator. There there is a clip on the back. Also I think with the 01's the side markers and the front lights "clip" together... I see if I can find a write up.

his modification requires only a few simple tools and requires no other parts. It is a relatively simple modification which will only require time to complete.

1. Open hood, remove plastic holders that hold your black covering on your lights. Remove the black protectant covering.

2. When you remove the black covering, you will see the 2 bolts that hold your headlight in place - unscrew those. When your headlights are loose, unscrew and remove the headlight bulb and the corner light bulb. Take both headlights and corner lights off the car. Separate the corners from the headlights so it allows you to work much easier on the corner light.

Note: There are no screws that hold the corner light to the headlights, it is simply a clip that detaches from the headlight.

also would have helped if you post in the exterior forum.

And I assume the assembly has to be removed to replace the bulb? As I see no way of doing otherwise.

yes the metal bracketing and bumper are in the way. Shouldn't take you more then ten minutes to do both bulbs.
