i have a set of AVS black out headlight covers on my 04 sunfire
my stock headlights did not light up anything at all
i just had a proper HID kit installed, (not cheap ebay kit) and i get a little bit more light coming through, but not much
i love the look with the covers and want to get them on
has anyone else experienced this??????
I experienced it.
With my high beams on and driving through town with streetlights I could see fine....
They aren't designed to be left on for driving at night.
common sense would say take them off at night
Could be the reason the package and instructions say "For show and off-road use only. Check your local laws for any legal restrictions."
"The FACTS are always subject to CHANGE once the TRUTH is applied"
"In the entire history of man the only stupid questions are the ones that don't get asked"

i dont. i think that crap is horrible. if you cant see at night then take the damn things off. common sense goes a long way.
those things are definitely for show and not go. My friend has his on small velcro strips and has to remove them every time before driving at night. He has them on his S-10 for the headlights, tails, and signals. The covers on the tails don't get much heat if anything by the cops, but the headlight and signal covers get him the most crap. But he doesn't really care but is at least smart enough to remove the headlight ones at night.
Comes with owning such a product.
