doesn't fit right

Hey guys, I recently got into a little accident two weeks ago....front passenger side got hit a little hard, broken driver side headlight, and a dent in my rear bumper. After it happend me and my friends tried to check out the damage...front bumper was tore off and the passenger-side fender was pushed back...I couldnt open my door or it was bend the fender in. Also the hood sits wierd now, it looks as if its pulling to the driver's side and it sits way too high on the passenger side. I tried working with the hinges to see if that would solve the problem but it didn't...

So all in all, when we tried putting the fender back on it would not line up with the door...holes line up but can't open the door and the hood sits crooked....my friends say I might have bent my frame but we are not sure....so I'm asking all the guys with exterior experience for a 2nd opinion, does it sound like my frame is bent in any way or is there something I should look for?

I see a cool-air intake
It's got a NOS-fogger system and a T-4 turbo
I see an A.I.C. controller
It has direct port nitrous injection
Yeah, a stand-alone fuel management system
...Not a bad way to spend $10,000

chances are something is bent out of shape.... (had to replace door/fender).... the fender just bolted right on really easily and the door was a little bit harder... but never interferred with the fender... so i think there's something bent at the front end.....

that what me and my friend's thought. we tried putting the fender on w/o lining the hole up (like it would sit normally) and it worked...but when we lined everything up it didnt work. I cant open my passenger door unless I want to roll the side of the fender inwards which has already happend...good thing I got another fender sitting in the garage lol.

But as far as everything goes, fender sits too far back and the hood sits crooked and high on one side.

could be that "frame rail" like section where the fender bolts in on top. that same part that wraps around the front of the engine bay and where the headlights bolt in. prolly bent that up a bit

the stock hood fits better than the carbon hood for some reason but the carbon hood fits perfectly on my car. so its not the hood but its weird how one fits and one does not

like I said I'll get some pix up when I get home so you can better see the "situation". but the stock hood did fit better than my evo c/f hood....as for the frame rail, when I took my fenders off the rail looked somewhat with a bend into it but I thought it was like that stock since the hood slopes down towards the bumper...maybe that could be what your talking about?

You have a sway in the nose. If you got hit on the passanger side enough to push the driver side fender into the door then you have a sway. That is why the hood does not fit. The whole rad support is pushed over.
That is from your description. What's the gap look like on the passanger side from the fender and the door?
If your nose is swayed, I do not see you being able to fix it without a frame machine. If it is just the upper rad support that is swayed, then you may get lucky with some pry bars and big hammers and blocks of wood. But you are gonna need new hinges for the hood. Much easier to just replace them then mess around with them.
But put some pics up so we can help you out some more.

Its the passenger side fender that is push into the door. The way it looks there is no gap between the fender and the door. I do agree with new hinges, as for pix. I should ahve thm up soon, I've been running errand around teh house so I had no hance to upload them.

Well I really can't tell much by those pics. Looks like you tried to straighten the fender a bit right? The hood could be the latch is over or the lock is pushed over. These pics are after you worked on it right? Do you have any from before you worked on it? Your rad support could still be pushed over also. Take a tape measurer and measure from one hinge bolt to a bolt or hole on the rad support on the opposite side and take down the measurement. Maybe use the headlight bolt on the outside. Do the same the other way and see if the nose is square. I believe cavaliers are symetrical so the measurements should be the same. If they are the same then the nose is square and the problem lies elsewhere. It can be off up to 5 millimeters.

Could just be you need a new fender and that easy lol. Could have rolled the edge of the fender down causing the hood to look like it is not going down far enough. Just wanted to meantion that as well. You said you have another fender right? Try throwing that one on.
