I've got a new set of Drift firberglass sideskirts I want to install on my 98. They appear to need quite a bit of trimming to make them fit and look right. What I'd like to know from those that have installed these on their cars, did you install the door opening lip on top of the sill or flush with the sill and rocker? I've also thought about molding it into the body but unsure of how it would look.

on my friends s-fire we mounted them where the factory skirt had been mounted. which is the lowest point of the door stills and sits just on top of the rockers.
