Does anyone know where i would be able to get exterior tint? Im wanting to tint my taillights and i would perfer not to use rattle can stuff.
wont work it will crease everywhere. just go ahead and use the niteshade spray it gives great results just spray light and wet sand
Yea ok, I was asking where to get some(besides ebay). Heat and pull, it wont crease. I watched an "install" video of an ebay seller tinting the headlights on his bike, took about 5 minutes and no creases. I really dont want to buy from ebay, so could the next person answer my question?
was the tint you seen specifically made for exterior?
i know Kris aka resurectedJ used normal tint on his if i remember right
but yes, heat and pull to eliminate wrinkling
I think so, I dont believe the interior window tint would hold up to the eliments for too long. I'll see if i can find the ebay listing when i get home.
i tinted my rear tails using the VHT nightshade u can get it at autozone u might have to order it or if your in the binghamton NY i could show you to the place i got mine ne ways thier simple to tint wit hthe rattle can just wet sand them down so u have scuffed it all up prefferably like 2000 grit rubb them down with rubbing alc... then spray light coats i used 2 coats on my outter 3 coats on my inner and thier very dark i also drive a white cav so they look darker but wouldent suggest doing more than 5 coats after you have the desired look hit it with a few coats of clear they look great and have a very nice shine with the clear allmost like they came that way.
