i got my 8 k kit (ballasts and bulbs) and my 10 k bulbs from Ebay...

AFAIK they are illegal to manufacture for non OEM use in the US... so they have to be imported (i could be wrong though)

but the place i got em on Ebay years ago had em in every bulb style... 9004 9006/9007 H4 H7 Etc.

I love mine, a couple things I would recomend looking for is a kit that has HID hi & low beam, whether it is a single ballast that physically moves the bulb to give the "high beam", or the dual ballast system that actually has 2 ballasts per side (the last one being pretty pricey). I have the set that has HID low beam, and standard halogen high beam (for the 9007), that I will now be selling to upgrade to one of the above mentioned systems. Email me if you're interested...I will sell them pretty cheap, and I just put new Hella ballasts on.

Also, I would recomend you hard wire them, and don't just plug & play, as the system most of them use, you just stick a blade down your headlight socket....not very secure...

I have the 6000K ones, yes they are illegal in PA (& most everywhere else), but I have not gotten pulled over for them once, except for when one of my ballasts went out, and I had a burnt out headlight (hence the new Hella ballasts)

Actually they are still in my car right now, I am ordering a new set with the HID hi/low coming up in a couple days.....whenever a check clears. I will try to snap a pic of them, but they are 6000K 9007 bulbs it is a 35w system, with 55w halogen highs. I have a relay run to keep the low beams on with the high beams, but it is not a very good relay, and needs replaced (it is meant for interior, and is not weather tight). As far as price goes, make an offer, I can have them out of the car in no time flat, but I need to get my new kit in before I take them out. What part of washington are you in? I am sure we could meet up easy enough, thats about 20 minuts from my house & work.

Send me a pm, or email, well figure something out.

i tired the interior relay thing... as soon as water hit it at acted all funny and i yanked it... once water hit it, the low beams (HIDs) would turn on fine, and would stay on with the High beams... but wouldnt shut the highs off when i went back to lows... i had to kill the head lights and bring em back to get lows only again

hmmm, havent had that problem, but after water had gotten in it, it no longer worked, and the low beams will turn off with the high beams on. I was going to get the water tight relay and re-wire, but decided to just upgrade to the hi/low hid setup. But if Brent, or anyone else is interested in the ones I have, hit me up with an offer.

If you want, I can wire them up with the watertight relay, that shouldn't be a problem.

Those 00-02 black projectors are baller.

I'd love to swap my front clip to 00-02.

in regards to the having dual beams, i have the 9007 8000k low beam only kit and was wondering, if i were to order the 9007 bulbs, with 55w halogen highs will i need a different ballast and or harness?
Re: HID's, who has them??

^^^ No, ballasts and harness are the same....depending on the ballast (most use standard plug), but everything SHOULD be interchangable. You just have to hook up the extra wire/relay for the high beams.

I made my own if you notice there is not a abs bezel on there. When i get my truck running i will be making fiberglass bezels and have them painted to same color as the car.

so if i get the 9007-2 bulb just change the bulb and run another wire from the factory harness to the halogen high pin of the bulb...? is this correct?
Re: HID's, who has them??

Yes, well you will also have to run ground to the bulb as well. Unless you buy some weird type of bulb....most aftermarket companies use the same connections, if you are retrofitting with factory parts, it wont be as easy.

they are still bright without projectors.... the major difference though is with projectors you are able to control where the beam is shining... therefore you are not created a huge glare/danger for oncoming driviers..... IMO I would not run HID's without projectors...
