b pillar problem

i searched and i didn't get any good answers. My problem is that my b pillar is loose and i can hear wind when i drive down the highway and i went to the car wash today and i got sprayed with water! can you fix this problem or do you have to replace them? and if u do have to replace them, how do u do it? please help. Thanks

Chances are, one of the screw tabs is broken so you'll need to get another pillar. Try searching local junkyards for one. To take it off, just pull the weather stripping away from the pillar, and you'll see the 3 screws you need to take out (being it's loose, you may only have 1-2 screws holding it in).

i was bored and went out and took some pictures for ya
step 1- roll window down

step 2- pull weather stripping down from the top corner of the window

step 3- unscrew all 3 screws. as you can tell mine is broken i only have 1 screw left

step 4- pull pillar up and towards the back of the car.

then your all done

thanks for the pictures, thats a HUGE help!!! how does the weather stripping go back on? does it just go right back into place? or do u have to get some sort of glue? (as you can tell, i've never pulled the weather stripping away)

just push it back on. no adhesive is needed

dude, I have the same problem, the dealership told me the couldnt fix it, those bastards!

does anyone know what the cost of new b-pillars is at gm???
