Caliper covers: Gauging Interest

Just trying to see if there is a large market of people in this forum to diside if I want to do a group purchase here and become a vendor.

Me and two other people make powder coated aluminum brake caliper covers that are held in place with a high temp 3m tape. This have been tested on a couple of cars here at the shop since 2005.

We make the covers in black, red, yellow, (maybe blue), and natural alum. We have pictures of them installed on a workers yellow cavy just need to find the pics since they are pretty old. Let me know if your interested!

oh and we can have vinyl logos on the fronts of them is there something that a lot of you would want?

I think i'll pass. I'd rather spend the extra time to get my calipers power coated or painted than risk flying debris on the roads.

It makes me think of some cheap crap you find in autozone, like the stick on hood vents.

i like the idea but i think it would just be easier for someone to paint their caliper if they really wanted to.

the cover is directly attached to the caliper. as for painting with heat it chips off after time these are powder coated. and yes you could have your calipers powdercoated on your own but thats lots of money and you dont get the smooth uniform look.

Testing has been done and the high heat 3m tape used will not come off.

heres a picture.

if you paint it with high temp paint, it wont come off. whats the thickness on that alum. cover?

It looks like it holds in the heat from the pads very well. A+ on @!#$ty cooling.

Not knocking your product, but they remind me of these covers found somewhere else I know of.

the cover pictured is for a truck the smaller ones for your cars are only 1.25" deep your not going to affect cooling what so ever. the alum is about 1/16" thick they do not rise the height that much just make sure you got about 1/4" all the way around your caliper to wheel.

im still trying to but together a price for these right at this moment, but i looked at the ebay covers from thailand... we have a patent on stick on caliper covers. They use silicon not sure how that works but ours are held in place with the best 3m tape VHB.
